Q. Why does HomeCraft charge extra for same day guarantee and two day delivery?
A. Our goal is to provide the lowest possible price and the best possible service. There is always a trade off between the two. If you compare our prices to those of our competition you will find that even if you pay the extra charges, your total will will be lower with HomeCraft. The exception would be a small order where you can't spread the extra charges out.
  
Q. Why does it take 48 hours to ship my product?
A. It usually doesn't take 48 hours. 85% of our orders leave within 24 hours. Many leave the same day. However, we always quote 48 hours. That way unless there is a problem with the order, you will get it in the quoted time or less. We think that's We think that's better customer service than promising you the order quickly and not being able to deliver.
  
Q. Why do I have to pay sales tax on mail order?
A. If the product is being delivered to an address within California, state law requires us to collect and remit state sales tax.
  
Q. Is my credit card secure?
A. Your credit card information is secure once it gets to our system. For questions regarding your credit card on the Internet, see our credit card statement.
  
Q. Do you sell my name and address?
A. We do occasionally rent our customer list. We are very choosy about the information that will be sent to you. You will only recieve mail from reliable companies, and all mail will be craft or painting related. For more information, see our privacy statement.
  
Q. Why did the contents of my shopping cart go away?
A. You must have cookies enabled to use our shopping cart system. We would prefer that were not the case, but it's what we have. If you are sure cookies are enabled, try clearing your temporary files, then try again. If all else fails, you can email your order to sales@homecraftexpress.com
  
Q. How can I find the phone number of a publisher?
A. Go to our crafters database. If we have the information, its in there.
  
Q. Where can I buy out of print books?
A. Sometimes you can get them from the publisher. More often you have to find a used one. Put an an on our classified ad site toletrader.com. Many people have had success there.
  
Q. How do I notify you of an address change?
A. Send an email to support@homecraftexpress.com. Include you old address, and your new address. If you are changing email addresses, send your old and new email address.
